Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and convenient for shopping, but they felt a bit cramped compared to the advertised images. The service from the staff was top-notch, incredibly friendly, and accommodating, although there were some pricey extras like a black cab to Gatwick. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the shopping district and close to key attractions. The dining experience was a bit of a rollercoaster, with delicious food but an expensive option when booking with the room. The overall value for money was a bit questionable for me.
I found the location excellent, being close to Oxford Street and not far from Hyde Park, but the rooms were not so great in reality. They looked much better in pictures, but for a long stay of one month, it was quite difficult to agree with the stark, trendy design without a carpet.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. Despite a great location providing easy access to shopping and restaurants, the rooms were misnomer minuscule with uncomfortable beds and thin walls. The service, excluding Sophia, was excellent, and I appreciated the staff's helpfulness and welcoming nature. Dining was lackluster with long waits, and the facilities were outdated and not up to par with the booking pictures.
My stay at the hotel had its highs and lows. The room, though very spacious, had a small bathroom with limited ventilation and lacked some usual amenities like cotton wool. On the upside, it was located above a function room where loud music could be heard until the early hours. The service was excellent and friendly, with very helpful staff and some nice touches like chocolates or jelly bellies. However, there were some instances where the service lacked friendliness. The location was convenient for exploring the city, being a short walk to shopping and Tube stops, but needing some upgrades. The dining experience was a huge disappointment for a 5-star hotel, with a cold breakfast buffet at 10.00 am. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities were adequate, making for a decent stay.
The hotel's location is central and perfect for exploring Mayfair, with clean and tidy rooms offering a view of the park. The service was friendly but lacked follow-through on requests. The dining experience provided a good spread of options, although overpriced. Overall, the hotel's value for money is reasonable considering the location.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were impeccable and spacious, equipped with all the luxuries of a 5-star hotel. However, the room was only made up after 4:00 PM until I addressed the issue. The service was a mixed bag with excellent assistance from arrival to departure, but there were some hiccups like not providing a breakfast menu. The location was convenient for shopping and sightseeing, though the rooms and toilet were a bit outdated. The dining experience was hit and miss, with good food at The Maze but some shortcomings in presentation and service. Overall, a comfortable stay with room for improvement in certain aspects.
