London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, London

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and convenient for shopping, but they felt a bit cramped compared to the advertised images. The service from the staff was top-notch, incredibly friendly, and accommodating, although there were some pricey extras like a black cab to Gatwick. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the shopping district and close to key attractions. The dining experience was a bit of a rollercoaster, with delicious food but an expensive option when booking with the room. The overall value for money was a bit questionable for me.

I found the location excellent, being close to Oxford Street and not far from Hyde Park, but the rooms were not so great in reality. They looked much better in pictures, but for a long stay of one month, it was quite difficult to agree with the stark, trendy design without a carpet.

The location was convenient for exploring the city, being a short walk to shopping and Tube stops, but needing some upgrades. The dining experience was a huge disappointment for a 5-star hotel, with a cold breakfast buffet at 10.00 am. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities were adequate, making for a decent stay.

The hotel's location is central and perfect for exploring Mayfair, with clean and tidy rooms offering a view of the park. The service was friendly but lacked follow-through on requests. The dining experience provided a good spread of options, although overpriced. Overall, the hotel's value for money is reasonable considering the location.
